I am sports minded but not a fanatic (although baseball is very close). I do like to play golf and softball but never seem to find the time. I also enjoy bowling. I love the beach and sipping margarita's while the sun goes down. I enjoy all kinds of music (even some country). I love the mid 80's alternative stuff and I am a big Springsteen fan. What do you expect; I'm from NJ. I enjoy going out for nice dinners, having a bottle of wine and perhaps going to a club but I also like ordering some Chinese (the food, not the people) and then cuddling in bed while watching some old movies. My Kids, my family and my friends are very important to me...perhaps you fit in here, too. As you can tell (if you got this far), I try not to take things too seriously. Life is too short. But I do take the love of my children very seriously...and the love of a woman (that may sound corny but I couldn't think of another way to put it). Yes I am 43 but I really don't look it. Do I ?

I guess the perfect date is one that leads to a second date. A nice relaxed atmosphere where we can be ourselves and not feel like everything we say is being scrutinized. Enjoy a nice meal and a bottle of wine (or a beer). I'm easy though and would be open to any suggestions. I also thought that I would like a real long first date but I am beginning to question that idea. perhaps a short "meet and greet" is better. This way we are not "stuck" on a 4 hour date if the other is not what we thought. Maybe an hour or two at the most and then we get to go home and evaluate the night and the person. If it's right...that 2nd date will be happening real soon.

Let's see...what am I looking for? Well, a sense of humor is always a good place to start. I like to laugh and make those around me find the humor in themselves and in life. I use to say "you should probably look like Jennifer Anniston because as you can see, I look like Brad Pitt" but I guess now you should look like Angelina Jolie... Seriously, I do want to feel a physical attraction but so many of you don't post your pictures that I have had to look for other attractive qualities.
